Kyler King Game Report: @ Mattoon

For the first time in his career, Kyler King scored a receiving touchdown on Friday. He picked up 20 receiving yards and one TD, helping propel Salem past Mattoon by a score of 23-13. We think that's the best game he's posted since October 11th, 2024, when he made seven total tackles.

Looking ahead, King and Salem will challenge East Alton-Wood River at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The last time King duked it out with the Oilers (back in September of 2024), the Wildcats came out on top by a score of 42-8. Will another strong game from King be enough to do it again?
