Baseball Recap: Kennedy Extends Winning Streak to Four

Kennedy proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by ten) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Roosevelt Teddies, sneaking past 4-3. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The victory (which was Kennedy's fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-5. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Roosevelt, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kennedy will face off against Robbinsdale Cooper at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Roosevelt, they will take on Edison at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. The Teddies are facing the Tommies at the right time seeing as the Tommies are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
