Soccer Recap: Memphis Central Takes a Loss

Memphis Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Sunday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. Benedict at Auburndale Eagles. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2019.

Memphis Central's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for St. Benedict at Auburndale, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Memphis Central will take on Memphis Rise Academy at 5:00 p.m. on March 18th. As for St. Benedict at Auburndale, they will head out on the road to square off against Harding Academy at 6:00 p.m. on March 18th.
