Volleyball Recap: Cuyahoga Falls Takes a Loss

If Cuyahoga Falls was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Northwest on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Black Tigers fell 3-1 to the Stow-Munroe Falls Bulldogs on Thursday. The defeat continues a trend for the Black Tigers in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost four in a row.

The final score came out to 25-8, 25-20, 21-25, 25-17.

Joey Stiffler paced Cuyahoga Falls' offense, picking up 14 kills. Stiffler got some help from Lucas Hummel and his 20 assists. Hummel was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

Cuyahoga Falls' loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Stow-Munroe Falls, their record now sits at 7-8.
