Volleyball Recap: Park Hill South Comes Up Short in High-Profile Contest with Oak Park

Park Hill South faced Oak Park in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Panthers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Northmen. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Northmen this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 last Tuesday.

Park Hill South's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 12-6. As for Oak Park, the win (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 19-5.

Park Hill South didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Benton on the 19th. As for Oak Park, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Guadalupe Centers on the 19th.
