Softball Recap: Dundee/Bradford Central BraveScots vs. Red Jacket
While Dundee/Bradford Central put up plenty of runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Red Jacket. The BraveScots put the hurt on Red Jacket with a sharp 11-0 win. Fans of the BraveScots have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+ runs.
Morgan Sutryk and Addie Tham made a splash while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Sutryk struck out nine batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). Meanwhile, Tham kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out six over four innings pitched. Sutryk has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two hits any time she's pitched this season. At the plate, Sutryk went 1-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run, while Tham went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run.
In other batting news, Korrin Yeoman was incredible, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Maddie Knapp, who earned one run and three stolen bases.
