Basketball Game Preview: Neah Bay Red Devils vs. Port Angeles Roughriders

The Neah Bay Red Devils will face off against the Port Angeles Roughriders at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Neah Bay is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Tulalip Heritage just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Saturday. They lost 72-52 to the Hawks. The game marked the Red Devils' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, Port Angeles was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They received a blow as they fell 66-52 to Bremerton. While losing is never fun, the Roughriders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 210th, while the Knights are ranked 86th).

Neah Bay's loss dropped their record down to 8-2. As for Port Angeles, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7.

Neah Bay came out on top in a nail-biter against Port Angeles in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, sneaking past 57-55. Does Neah Bay have another victory up their sleeve, or will Port Angeles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
