Basketball Recap: Wesson Takes a Loss

After flying high against Salem on Monday, Wesson came back down to earth. The Cobras were outmatched by the West Lincoln Bears and fell 55-21. The loss continues a trend for the Cobras in their meetings with the Bears: they've now lost four in a row.

Wesson's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for West Lincoln, they pushed their record up to 6-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Wesson will challenge McLaurin at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for West Lincoln, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Enterprise at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
