Basketball Recap: Carson City-Crystal Eagles vs. Fulton Pirates
The Carson City-Crystal Eagles's 18-6 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They were dealt a 60-33 defeat at the hands of Fulton on Thursday. Carson City-Crystal has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
They used a three-pronged attack on offense:
Cole Smith,
Gavin Reeder, and
Klouse Andrews posted seven points each.
Carson City-Crystal has not been sharp recently as the team's lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season. As for Fulton, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-6.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Carson City-Crystal will take on the Comets at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Coleman is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak. As for Fulton, they will be playing at home against the Vandals at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
