Volleyball Recap: Cactus Shadows Continues Road Dominance on Sunday

Cactus Shadows picked up another tournament win on Sunday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Queen Creek Bulldogs. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Falcons.

Cactus Shadows easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-14.

Noah Denten paced Cactus Shadows' offense, picking up ten kills. Denten got some help from Blake Hemming and his 17 assists. Hemming was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

Cactus Shadows' win was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-8. As for Queen Creek, with the loss, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-8.

As for Queen Creek, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Higley on the 1st.
