Otsego had to endure a ten-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 50-42 win over Ottawa Hills on Tuesday. Otsego's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Otsego found their leader in underclassman Jocelyn Cornell, who scored 23 points along with five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Cornell has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Savannah Villarreal, who scored five points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, Fostoria took their match at home on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 56-25 win over Swanton. That looming 56-25 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Fostoria yet this season.
Otsego's win bumped their record up to 3-17. As for Fostoria, they pushed their record up to 9-10 with that win, which was their third straight at home.
