Baseball Recap: Thursday's Win Is the Bay School's Fourth in Last Five Outings

The Bay School won against International on Tuesday with seven runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. The Breakers never let the Jaguars get on the board and left with a 7-0 win. The Breakers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by six runs or more this season.

International's batters probably weren't too happy with Nate Won, who pitched a no hitter and racked up seven Ks (he gave up zero walks). Won has been consistent: he hasn't given up a single earned run in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Terje Steele, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in February.

The Bay School is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.6 runs on average over those games. As for International, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-8.

Coincidentally, The Bay School and International will both be playing Gateway the next time they take the field. The Breakers will head out to face the Gators at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Jaguars will host them at 3:30 p.m. on the 29th.
