Basketball Recap: Guthrie Gets the Win

Guthrie proved they can win big on Friday (they won by 23) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Perrin-Whitt Pirates 39-37.

Guthrie's win bumped their record up to 15-3. As for Perrin-Whitt, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-9.

Guthrie and Woodson will face off at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. As for Perrin-Whitt, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Valley View at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
