Brownfield came tearing into Tuesday's match with 13 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 31 points) and they left with even more momentum. They breezed by the Crane Cranes to the tune of 79-49. Given the Cubs' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 247th, while the Cranes are ranked 1142nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Brownfield is also on a roll lately: they've won 17 of their last 18 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 23-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.4 points per game. As for Crane, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.

Brownfield will head out to square off against Stanton at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Brownfield is facing Stanton at the right time seeing as Stanton is stuck on a 14-game losing streak. As for Crane, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Denver City at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
