Basketball Recap: East Central's Losing Streak Snapped at Three Games

East Central can bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They came out on top against the Shawnee Wolves by a score of 68-60. Given the Cardinals' advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 50th, while the Wolves are ranked 134th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

East Central's victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Shawnee, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East Central will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Nathan Hale at 7:30 p.m. on January 28th. As for Shawnee, they will square off against Collinsville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
