Basketball Recap: Owosso Gets the Win

Owosso's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They secured a 66-61 W over the Brandon Blackhawks. This was payback for the Trojans, who suffered a 35-31 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Owosso's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Brandon, they dropped their record down to 1-4 with the loss, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Owosso will be home for the holidays to greet Bendle at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bendle is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 65 points per game this season. Brandon and Kearsley will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Kearsley knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Brandon likes a good challenge.
