Soccer Recap: Reagan Comes Up Short

Reagan managed to slip by Davie the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Reagan came up short against Davie on Monday, falling 4-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Reagan were already down 3-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Mikayla Nicks, which was the first she's scored this season.

Reagan has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4-1 record this season. The victory was the third in a row for Davie, bringing their record up to 6-1-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Reagan is set to challenge their familiar foe West Forsyth at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Davie will take on rival Mount Tabor at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few goals on average (Davie 0.5, Mount Tabor 0.5) so any goals scored will be well earned.
