Volleyball Game Preview: Sioux Central Rebels vs. Northwest Webster Cougars

Sioux Central is 2-8 against Northwest Webster since September of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Rebels will venture away from home to face off against the Cougars at 7:30 p.m. Sioux Central is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last six games.

On Saturday, Sioux Central was able to grind out a solid win over North Union, taking the game 2-0.

Meanwhile, Northwest Webster came up short against East Sac County on Thursday and fell 3-1. The Cougars haven't had much luck with the Raiders recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Sioux Central's victory bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Northwest Webster, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5.

Sioux Central might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Northwest Webster when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Can the Rebels avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
