Softball Recap: Bellingham Takes a Loss

Bellingham was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 17-0 to the Nooksack Valley Pioneers. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Bellingham's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Nooksack Valley, the win was the fourth in a row (dating back to last season) for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Bellingham is set to face off against their familiar foe Sedro-Woolley at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Nooksack Valley will challenge rival Lakewood at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
