Basketball Recap: Comanche Comes Up Short

Comanche was the 41-24 winner over Eastland when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Comanche Indians fell just short of the Eastland Mavericks by a score of 40-38 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Indians have suffered against the Mavericks since January 18, 2022.

Comanche has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 8-17 record this season. As for Eastland, their victory bumped their record up to 4-23.

Coming up, Comanche will face off against Iowa Park at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Eastland does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
