Kooper Perry posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Monday. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 16 over seven innings pitched. The effort marked the fewest hits he has had since back in March.

Perry's effort led Westmoreland over Trousdale County and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
