Volleyball Recap: Durham Falls Short of Harbor in the Playoffs + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Durham can now relate to. They fell just short of the Harbor Pirates by a score of 3-2 on Thursday.

Durham took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 25-17, 22-25, 24-26, 25-21, 15-11.

Payton Santos paced Durham's offense, picking up 17 kills. Santos got some help from Clare Osbon and her 44 assists. Josie Landon controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Durham's loss dropped their record down to 31-7. As for Harbor, they pushed their record up to 27-10 with the win, which was their 12th straight at home.

Durham does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Harbor, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Ripon Christian on the 15th.
