Soccer Recap: Clairemont Comes Up Short

Clairemont lost against Sweetwater back in December of 2016 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Clairemont Chieftains fell just short of the Sweetwater Red Devils by a score of 1-0.

Clairemont has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for Sweetwater, their victory bumped their record up to 7-2-3.

Clairemont is taking a road trip to challenge Hoover at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Hoover's last five contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Sweetwater, they will welcome Bayfront Charter at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Sweetwater is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.7 goals per game this season.
