Moss Point fell victim to Poplarville and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Hornets, falling 15-0. Having soared to a lofty 18 runs in the game before, the Tigers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Meanwhile, Pass Christian waltzed into their contest on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Wildcats. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Pirates have posted since March 19, 2024.

Moss Point's defeat dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Pass Christian, their win bumped their record up to 11-8.
