Clear Springs has gone a perfect 10-0 against Brazoswood recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Chargers will look to defend their home court against the Buccaneers at 6:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Clear Springs has ten straight victories, Brazoswood has ten straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

If Clear Lake wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Clear Springs, they should've done a better job of containing Aubree Svoboda. The Chargers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Falcons on Thursday for which the team can thank Svoboda, who had 15 digs and six aces. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last four times she's played.
While Clear Springs won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 26-24, 25-21.
Clear Springs' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Adelyn Simpson, who had nine assists and eight digs. Sonia DeLeon also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.
Meanwhile, Brazoswood came up short against Clear Falls on Friday and fell 3-1.
The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 22-25, 25-13, 25-9.
Clear Springs' victory bumped their record up to 31-8. As for Brazoswood, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-25.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Tuesday's matchup: Clear Springs has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 7.3 aces per game. However, it's not like Brazoswood struggles in that department as they've been averaging 6.2 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
