Volleyball Recap: Arleta Takes a Loss

Arleta was the 3-2 winner over Poly when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Mustangs fell 3-1 to the Parrots on Thursday. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Arleta started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 14-25, 25-18, 25-17, 25-15.

Arleta's loss dropped their record down to 16-4. As for Poly, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-18.

Looking ahead, Arleta is taking a road trip to face off against San Fernando at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Poly, they will head out to take on Sylmar at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
