Basketball Recap: Dover Takes a Loss

Dover was the 56-52 winner over Winnacunnet when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Dover Green Wave fell to the Winnacunnet Warriors 51-46. The Green Wave's loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Dover's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Winnacunnet, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dover has already played their next contest (against Spaulding), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Winnacunnet will take on Concord at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Concord has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the game with ten straight losses, while Winnacunnet will come in with five straight wins.
