Basketball Recap: Bergenfield Comes Up Short

Bergenfield lost against Pascack Valley back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bergenfield Bears were dealt a 54-20 loss at the hands of the Pascack Valley Panthers. While losing is never fun, the Bears can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 283rd, while the Panthers are ranked 126th).

Bergenfield has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season. As for Pascack Valley, their win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 6-5.
