Volleyball Recap: Coconino Comes Up Short

Coconino was the 3-2 winner over Mingus when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Panthers fell just short of the Marauders by a score of 3-2 on Wednesday. The Panthers just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Coconino's loss dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Mingus, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-12 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Coconino is set to challenge their familiar foe Lee Williams at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Mingus will take on rival Bradshaw Mountain at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
