Baseball Game Preview: Booker Kiowas vs. White Deer Bucks

The Booker Kiowas will square off against the White Deer Bucks at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Booker has five straight victories, White Deer has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Booker's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They put the hurt on Boys Ranch with a sharp 14-0 win. The Kiowas might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by nine runs or more this season.

Meanwhile, White Deer lost 20-4 to Follett on Thursday.

Maddox Bowers made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Littleman, who scored a run while getting on base in both of his plate appearances.

Booker pushed their record up to 8-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.0 runs over those games. As for White Deer, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-9.
