Clintondale extended the longest winning streak in Macomb Area - Bronze this week by beating South Lake, 31-22. The victory was the ninth in a row for the team.
Clawson's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Ty Sparks threw for 328 and three touchdowns and Marquian Johnson had 117 yards receiving. On the ground Steven Klein chipped in 10 yards. Craig Bynum helped Clawson's passing attack out by catching four balls for 68 yards.
Clawson's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Trojans feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Sparks has thrown for 1682 yards and 21 touchdowns this season, while Johnson has 36 catches for 661 yards. Klein leads the league in rushing with 667 yards.
Clintondale led the league in scoring this week after putting up 31 points on the Cavaliers.
