Ozanam takes loss despite strong efforts from A.W. Poke and Zaireion Nicholson

Recap: Ozanam vs. Chesterton Academy of St. Philip Neri Crusaders
Ozanam lost against the Chesterton Academy of St. Philip Neri Crusaders back in November of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Ozanam fell 59-46 to Chesterton Academy of St. Philip Neri. Ozanam has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Ozanam's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Zaireion Nicholson, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 15 rebounds, and A.W. Poke who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds. Poke also posted two+ blocks for the first time this season.
Ozanam's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Chesterton Academy of St. Philip Neri, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4.
Ozanam will be playing in front of their home fans against Midland Adventist Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Chesterton Academy of St. Philip Neri, they will head out on the road to square off against Christ Prep Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Christ Prep Academy is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.
