Basketball Recap: Northside Picks Up Fifth Straight Win at Home

There's no place like home for Northside, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They rang in the new year with a 38-30 win over the Mundy's Mill Tigers on Friday.

When it comes to explaining why Mundy's Mill lost, don't look at Katelynn Owens. Despite the final result, she went 6 for 10 on her way to 15 points in addition to six boards and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Temperance Winder, who posted seven points.
