Basketball Recap: Sullivan County Takes a Loss

Sullivan County was the 57-42 winner over South Williamsport when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Sullivan County Griffins took a 61-45 bruising from the South Williamsport Mountaineers on Wednesday. The Griffins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sullivan County's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for South Williamsport, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

Sullivan County will square off against Our Lady of Lourdes Regional at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for South Williamsport, they will face off against Line Mountain at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
