Volleyball Recap: Deforest's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Six

With a playoff win on the line, DeForest rose to the challenge on Thursday. They blew past the Madison West Regents 3-0. The victory was familiar territory for the Norskies, who have now won six matches in a row.

DeForest never let Madison West on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-11, 25-22.

DeForest's offense was headlined by Addy Tuite and Brinley Schwenn, who picked up eight kills apiece. They got some help from Morgan Bentel and her 16 assists. Haylin Arnold and Ava Morauske kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

DeForest's win bumped their record up to 29-10. As for Madison West, they are on a 31-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-30.

Looking ahead, DeForest will be playing in front of their home fans against Sun Prairie West at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Madison West does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
