Volleyball Preview: Tate Aggies vs. Escambia Gators
Tate is 10-0 against Escambia since October of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The Tate Aggies will be playing at home against the Escambia Gators at 6:30 p.m. Tate will be strutting in after a win while Escambia will be coming in after a loss.
Tate took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They came out on top against Choctawhatchee by a score of 3-1.
Tate was dominant in the fourth set, but otherwise had just enough against a tough Choctawhatchee squad. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 22-25, 25-22, 25-11.
Meanwhile, Escambia came up short against Booker T. Washington on Thursday and fell 3-1. The Gators have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
The final score came out to 25-19, 25-16, 15-25, 25-19.
Tate's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Escambia, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-8.
