Softball Recap: Dublin Takes a Loss

Dublin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the Comanche Indians, falling 17-2. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lions of the 13-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Dublin saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Haden Keilers, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run and two RBI.

Dublin's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Comanche, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Looking ahead, Dublin will head out to square off against Breckenridge at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Breckenridge is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.3 runs per game this season. As for Comanche, they will square off against Millsap at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Comanche will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last.
