Volleyball Recap: Whitewater Snags 11th Victory in Last 13 Games + How To Watch

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Whitewater had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Monroe Area Purple Hurricanes as they made off with a 3-0 victory.

Leading Whitewater to victory were Rylee Vessell and Evie Higman. Vessell had 34 digs and two assists, while Higman had 12 digs and four assists. Vessell is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last 15 games she's played.

Whitewater was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in seven consecutive matches.

Whitewater has been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-7-1 record this season. As for Monroe Area, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-29.

Whitewater didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against White County on the 18th. Monroe Area does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
