Football Recap: Millard North Comes Up Short

Millard North and Papillion-LaVista South squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Millard North had to settle for second. They fell 36-26 to the Titans. While the Mustangs had to settle for second, they closed the game well in the third quarter, where they outscored the Titans 12-7.

Despite the loss, Millard North still got an impressive performance from Cameron Leggett, who rushed for 41 yards and one TD, and also threw for 92 yards and one touchdown. Leggett's passing game has become a key predictor of the Mustangs' success: the team is 2-1 when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 3-5 otherwise.

Millard North now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Papillion-LaVista South, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-1.

Millard North does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Papillion-LaVista South, they will square off against Creighton Prep on Friday. That matchup will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Derek Jones and Angelo Wallker.
