Gracie Cordell put up the most strikeouts she's had over her last six games on Monday. As a matter of fact, she turned in her biggest game of the season, striking out nine batters over five innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits (and only one walk). She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances.

Cordell's strong effort led Miami Trace over Washington and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Blue Lions are limping into the matchup having lost 16 straight on the road dating back to last season. There's no doubt they're looking for a change of fortune, but will Cordell and the Panthers have enough to stop it?
