Softball Recap: Lansing Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Lansing's offense. They came up short against the Edison Spartans on Thursday, falling 16-0. The loss continues a trend for the Bobcats in their meetings with the Spartans: they've now lost six in a row.

Lansing's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Edison, they pushed their record up to 5-0 with the victory, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Lansing has already played their next game, a 10-9 win against Notre Dame on the 21st. As for Edison, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 12-0 victory against Whitney Point on the 21st.
