There's no place like home for Izard County, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 57-36 margin over the Mammoth Spring Bears on Friday. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Izard County's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Mammoth Spring, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-9.

Izard County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 54-50 defeat against Harrison on the 21st. As for Mammoth Spring, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Marshall at 7:00 p.m. on January 10, 2025.
