Recap: Kenwood Bluebirds vs. Forest Park Foresters
This season hasn't been kind to the Kenwood Bluebirds, who are still winless after their fifth matchup. They were dealt a 75-39 defeat at the hands of Forest Park on Saturday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Kenwood has scored all season.
When it comes to explaining why Kenwood lost, one person who can't be blamed is Neo Feehan. Despite the final result, he scored 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dasan Johns, who scored nine points.
Kenwood's defeat was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 0-5. As for Forest Park, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.
Kenwood will head out on the road to face off against Patapsco at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Forest Park will be home for the holidays to greet Poly at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Poly knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three matches -- so hopefully Forest Park likes a good challenge.
