Football Recap: Pine Ridge Comes Up Short

Pine Ridge fell victim to Spruce Creek and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They were dealt a 33-0 loss at the hands of the Hawks. The defensive woes were uncharacteristic for the Panthers, who until this contest were averaging ten points allowed.

Greta Carlson threw for 43 yards on six of 13 attempts. Serenity Gorham was her top target, picking up 27 receiving yards.

Pine Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Spruce Creek, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 14-0.

Coming up, Pine Ridge will head out to take on Deltona at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Wolves' defense has only allowed 8.6 points per game this season, so the Panthers' offense will have their work cut out for them. Spruce Creek does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
