Baseball Recap: St. Augustine Snaps Five-Game Streak of Losses at Home

St. Augustine's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Saint Mary's Hall Barons 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Knights have posted since March 7, 2024.

St. Augustine's victory ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-4. As for Saint Mary's Hall, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-7.

Coincidentally, St. Augustine and Saint Mary's Hall will both be playing San Antonio Christian the next time they take the field. The Knights will host the Lions at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Barons will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
