Baseball Recap: Muhlenberg Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Muhlenberg can now relate to. They fell just short of the Ephrata Mountaineers by a score of 2-0 on Friday. The Muhls were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Mountaineers earlier this season, when they won 4-3.

This is the second loss in a row for Muhlenberg and nudges their season record down to 11-9. Those defeats can't be blamed on the team's pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 8 runs in those games. As for Ephrata, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Muhlenberg nor Ephrata have any future games scheduled.
