Basketball Recap: San Juan Hills Sets Scoring Season-High Against Otay Ranch + How To Watch

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask San Juan Hills). They snuck past the Otay Ranch Mustangs with a 62-58 victory on Saturday. The Stallions have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Mustangs, too.

San Juan Hills' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Rocco Jensen led the charge by putting up 22 points along with eight boards and three blocks. With that strong performance, Jensen is now averaging an impressive 16 points per game. Nicholas Francik was another key player, dropping a double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds.

Several Mustangs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ace Arciaga, who shot 50% from the field to rack up 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nyno Lopez, who went 5-for-10 on his way to 11 points.

San Juan Hills now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Otay Ranch, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

San Juan Hills didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 61-48 win against Yorba Linda on the 1st. As for Otay Ranch, they have also already played their next game, a 63-58 victory against Kearny on the 3rd.
