After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Southridge, Chiawana was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They skirted past the Hanford Falcons 3-2. The victory continues a trend for the Riverhawks in their matchups with the Falcons: they've now won seven in a row.

Chiawana had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 20-25, 23-25, 25-18, 25-22, 15-12.

Chiawana's win bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Hanford, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-8 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Chiawana is set to take on their familiar foe Walla Walla at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Hanford will challenge rival Pasco at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
