It was a good run, but Rampart unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-match winning streak on Monday. They lost 3-0 to the Pine Creek Eagles. While losing is never fun, Rampart can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado soccer rankings (they are ranked 64th, while Pine Creek are ranked 14th).

Rampart's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 7-4-1. As for Pine Creek, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2-3 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Rampart will take on Liberty at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pine Creek, they will square off against Battle Mountain at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
