Softball Recap: Canyon View Falcons vs. North Sanpete Hawks

It was a good run, but Canyon View unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Thursday. They wound up on the wrong side of a rough 9-3 walloping at the hands of the North Sanpete Hawks. Canyon View was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as North Sanpete apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played on April 9th.

Canyon View saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gracie Burt, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

On North Sanpete's side, Katelyn Johnson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up nine Ks.
